If you’ve got Netflix, you’ve got no excuse to not have watched an incredible documentary by two inspiring young dudes who just might have discovered the secret to a more fulfilling and meaningful life with less. We’re talking about the film The Minimalists. Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus are two old school friends who both ditched their successful corporate America careers and materialistic ways to embark on a mission of less is more.
For those at Corporate that have seen it, we instantly connected with the message these guys were trying to convey and are adopting their philosophy and taking on their 30-day Minimalism Game.
The Minimalists – both the film and the philosophy – really gets to the core of what it means to be alive and the things in life that actually matter. As Live Clean lovers, there’s a strong correlation between the Modere way of life and the idea of living a minimalistic lifestyle.
So what are you waiting for… Won’t you join us? The rules of the game are simply – today, get rid of one thing. Tomorrow, two things. On the third of the month, three things and so on for the whole month. It can be as big as unwanted or needed furniture to as small as a ruler (as our Sales and Marketing Manager, Allana, threw out today!). Whoever can stick with it the longest, wins!
Share with them using #MinsGame… share with us using #modereminimalists as we would love to hear how you plan on simplifying your life and also see what you are eliminating from your life. And who knows there may be a reward in it for a lucky one!
