1¼ cups dark chocolate chips
⅓ cup coconut oil
1 avocado
3 eggs
1 cup coconut sugar
1 cup almond meal
4 scoops Axis PhytoReds
¼ tsp salt
2 cups mixed berries
Pouring cream, to serve


  • Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Place the chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and melt in the microwave.
  • Mash the avocado in a small bowl until smooth.
  • Beat the eggs and sugar until creamy and stir through the melted chocolate mix.
  • Add the avocado, almond meal, Axis PhytoReds and salt and mix well to combine.
  • Fold through 1 cup of berries.
  • Pour the mix into a 22cm cast iron skillet and bake for 30 minutes – the centre of the brownie shouldn’t be set.
  • Serve with topped with reserved berries and cream on the side.
